The Office of the Vice-Chancellor is the office of the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Services in UMT, namely the Vice-Chancellor. It functions to assist the Vice-Chancellor in carrying out all matters related to university governance to ensure that all program planning and policies are implemented successfully in line with UMT’s vision, mission and strategic objectives. In February 2013, the Vice-Chancellor created the position of Head of Chancellery Administration to manage and handle the administrative and financial operations of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office as well as monitor the Chancellery’s administrative and financial affairs as a whole.
The Client Charter of the Vice Chancellor’s Office is to provide high quality services to meet the needs of customers and stakeholders.
Since the Vice Chancellor’s Office is the office of the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Service in UMT, the administrative and service matters in this office must always comply with the protection security policy set by the University.
The Vice-Chancellor’s Office also acts as the Secretariat of the UMT University Management Committee (MPU) Meeting. In general, MPU will convene at least 6 times a year to discuss University governance matters.
